DURABrite INK is so named because prints are durable and bright. Perfect for the business environment, DURABrite INK endures harsh conditions, producing sharp text and graphics even on plain paper. HOW DOES IT WORK? Unlike dye-based inkjet inks, DURABrite Ink is pigment-based - like those used in commercial printing. The pigment in DURABrite INK is hydrophobic and not soluble in water. The coating of the pigment is a soft resin (which has both hydrophopobic and hydrophillic groups, like a detergent) suspending the ink in a liquid form. QUALITY PRINTS Inkjet inks that are not pigment based are absorbed into plain paper and produce a feathering effect as they spread through the papers fibres. DURABrite INK has the distinct advantage of bonding to the top of the paper (without being absorbed), so that text and graphics are extra sharp and do not produce feathering or smudges. WATER AND SMUDGE RESISTANT The hydrophobic nature of the pigment ink means that it is not soluble. As a result your business documents will last longer in tough environments and can be marked with a highlighter pen without the text running. LIGHTFASTNESS AND GASFASTNESS The pigment particles of DURABrite INK retain their colour for longer, even after contact with harsh environmental conditions such as sunlight and atmospheric gases. Genuine ink cartridges are made by the original equipment manufacturer for their own machines. For example, HP genuine ink cartridges are made for HP printers. These are the cartridges recommended by each machine manufacturer to specifically fit in their machines. Genuine ink cartridges usually provide the best colour matching and longevity of prints.
