Does your printer take up way too much space on your desk? Or does it look ugly? Or maybe it just doesn’t fit in with your decor.

We came across this clever idea to hide your printer away but in a way that still keeps it accessible so that you can refill paper, exchange toners, and scan and copy.

This was built into a home office but anyone clever with their hands could build this with off the shelf parts from Bunnings or failing that you could get a cabinetmaker to construct it for you at a reasonable price.

When you see it, it just looks like an ordinary cupboard.

Open the door a little, and you can see the printer inside.

The door opens fully and has some stays on each side so that it doesn’t flop. You can see the printer inside the cupboard.

The printer is on a rolling shelf so that it can be pulled out when you need to use it.

When pulled out completely you have full access to the printer and all its functions.

Once done, roll the printer back inside and close the cupboard. Very neat and tidy.
